VIDEO: NGO petitions Mohbad’s wife, brother over chat linked to singer’s death

A non-governmental organization has filed a formal petition against Omowunmi, the wife of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, along with his brother, Adura Aloba, and a close associate, Damola.
The petition cites a revealing TikTok chat that allegedly provides new insights into the mysterious circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
The singer’s untimely passing on September 24, 2023, sent shockwaves through Nigeria’s entertainment industry. Despite several court hearings and a police investigation, the true cause of his death remains unresolved.
According to the petition, the TikTok chat involves Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi and Adura Aloba, raising questions that the NGO believes warrant further scrutiny. The organization has called on security agencies to investigate the content of the petition and urged the authorities to conduct a comprehensive forensic examination of the phones belonging to the three individuals.
