EFCC announces e-auction of forfeited vehicles, invites public participation
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced an upcoming e-Auction of vehicles forfeited to the Federal Government. The auction, which will be conducted under final forfeiture orders, aims to ensure transparency and compliance with existing laws.
In a statement released via its official X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, the anti-graft agency confirmed that the auction process will adhere to the provisions of the EFCC (Establishment) Act, 2004, the Public Procurement Act, 2007, and the Proceeds of Crime (Recovery and Management) Act, 2022.
The sale will be facilitated by Auctioneers officially appointed by the EFCC, and the agency encouraged interested members of the public to review the attached images for information on available vehicles.
Reaffirming its commitment to fighting corruption, the EFCC stated that the e-Auction is part of its broader efforts to promote transparency and accountability in asset recovery and management.
