Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has responded to a social media critic who advised her to remove her wedding ring, suggesting that it might deter potential suitors.
The actress, who has been through two divorces, was urged by the netizen to stop wearing the ring on her marriage finger to improve her chances of finding a new partner.
The critic wrote: “Funke, it’s unwise to still wear a ring on your marriage finger knowing you’re divorced. Even worse, it might chase away your future husband. Little things count now that you’re still famous, hot, and rich. Mind your public acts. Remove the ring now. You need a man in your life ASAP. Act fast. Be wise.”
In a sharp and witty response, Funke Akindele dismissed the unsolicited advice, stating that her primary focus is on financial stability rather than rushing into another relationship. The actress replied: “I need money! That’s the koko.”
