Influencer slams UNIZIK female student who slapped lecturer

A social media influencer has weighed in on the ongoing controversy surrounding the viral altercation between a UNIZIK student and a lecturer, labeling the young woman a “chronic liar”and blaming her actions on poor parenting.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, the influencer criticized the student for allegedly twisting the narrative, arguing that her version of events contradicted the video evidence circulating online.
The incident has gone viral on several Nigeria news reports after the student accused the lecturer of inappropriate conduct, claiming he forcefully attempted to seize her phone—causing it to fall and break—and groped her chest, leading to a struggle that resulted in his clothes being torn. However, the lecturer denied the allegations, stating that he had only asked the student to excuse him before she launched an unprovoked attack on him.
Reacting to the unfolding drama, the influencer condemned the student’s claims, stating:
“Thank God for video evidence. That UNIZIK young lady is a devil and a chronic liar. Poor parenting is all over her. Anyway, I hope the male lecturer gets the justice he deserves.”
Social media users has rushed to the comment section to debate the incident and the influencer’s stance. While some supported his position, others questioned whether the full truth had been revealed.
See some reactions below:
@AdigunAyo68: “I’ve never seen such thing in my life before… Just look at how she form those lies out of nowhere, thank God for video.”
@jedijive: “Imagine using ChatGPT to give her own part of the sham story smh. She didn’t even bother to erase some traces of AI written pattern lmao.. nice poetry.”
@kabirishaqAbdu3: “Social media influence is all part of the reason the girl is claiming the lecturer harass her.”
As the case continues to gain traction, all eyes remain on the university’s disciplinary panel, which is set to address the matter in the coming days.
