Breaking: Missing JAMB candidate found, days after disappearance


A candidate who went missing on April 24 while on her way to sit for her Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has been found safe, two days after her disappearance.
The news was confirmed through a post shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), bringing relief to many who had followed the case closely online.
Earlier, the candidate’s sister had raised alarm on social media, reporting that her younger sibling, identified as Esther, had gone missing after leaving home for her JAMB exam and had not been seen for nearly 24 hours.
In a positive turn of events, Esther was found and safely returned. According to an update posted online, she was dropped off in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, on the morning of her discovery.
The emotional post announcing her return read: “We FOUND MY KID SIS (ESTHER). Thank God. Thank Y’all. Esther was dropped at Ijebu Ode this morning.”
The update quickly went viral, with hundreds of concerned users flooding the comment section to express their relief and gratitude, while also calling for more vigilance in ensuring the safety of students.
