NSCDC seizes 20,000 liters of petrol in Kano

Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Kano State has seized a tanker transporting more than 20,000 liters of petrol on Ibrahim Taiwo Road amidst fuel scarcity.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Ibrahim Abdullahi, disclosed on Friday, May 3, that a tanker suspected of diverting petrol from a Kano filling station was intercepted en route to an undisclosed destination in bordering Katsina State at the time of interception.
He said, “An investigation is underway, and upon conclusion, the petroleum product will be returned and offloaded at the original designated filling station in Kano. Legal action will be taken against the offenders,”
