Real estate firm to strengthen tourism in Abuja


As part of efforts to make Abuja Africa’s premier tourist destination, a real estate firm, Pinnacle City, has unveiled plans to launch a mega-integrated estate and city resort.
The firm noted that the groundbreaking project promised to reshape the economic terrain of the continent by establishing a central hub for tourism, sports, leisure, and entertainment.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Elvis Abang, the Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle City, disclosed the concept of the project was to build a global and integrated modern entertainment city in the Federal Capital Territory.
He stressed that the initiative would significantly alter the African regional landscape, enhancing economic prospects, medical tourism, sustainable residential areas, and leisure and entertainment offerings.
Abang lamented the snail-paced tourism development in Nigeria, noting that the project’s first phase was set to establish a new benchmark for tourism and entertainment in Africa.
He said: “When completed, it will become an African-preferred tourist destination. The pinnacle of Abuja is an iconic mega-integrated city resort of sports leisure, entertainment home, and eco-city as a bangles grip vision to develop a mega integrated city for the future that will become a destination for an economic miracle tourism, sport, tourism, leisure, and entertainment hub an eco-city, making it the world’s largest eco-friendly city in the African continent.
“The concept of this project is to build a global and integrated modern entertainment city in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria and that will radically change the African regional map of economic medical tourism and sustainable residential spots and leisure and entertainment policies.”
According to Pinnacle City’s managing director’s announcement about the pre-launch of the first phase of the project, which aims to introduce plans for a massive sports, leisure, and entertainment city in Africa continent.
“After many years of planning, we have been developing the largest man-made lagoon in the world, a natural wildlife reserve, an African village, an Olympic stadium and village, water parks, a presidential retreat, a library, and a man-made waterfall.
He remarked, “The current record is being developed in Dubai, which is about 40 hectares of land. Saudi Arabia is doing about 106 hectares of land, but we will surpass that in Pinnacle City to develop a 100-hectare lagoon. Now, this is our signature project and we are working in partnership with the world’s best lagoon company in the world,”.
