Aliyu approves payment of workers’ June salaries

Ahead of the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festivities, Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu has given the approval for the advance payment of June salaries to all state employees, commencing Monday.
This move is designed to enable public servants in Sokoto State to revel in a hassle-free and delightful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Abubakar Bawa, issued a statement on Sunday, announcing the decision.
According to Bawa, the early salary payment will benefit state civil servants, local government employees, and pensioners alike.
“The payment includes state civil servants, local government staff, local government education authority, and pensioners throughout the state,” the statement clarified.
Governor Aliyu also sent his warmest greetings to the Muslim community, wishing them a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration. Notably, since assuming office, Governor Aliyu has consistently ensured that state workers’ salaries are paid between the 20th and 21st of every month.
