A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and governorship aspirant in Abia state, Chief Ozurumba Henry Ikoh, has felicitated with people of Abia State and Nigerians in general, asking them to imbibe the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ even as they celebrate Christmas.
In a statement released to Newsmen, Chief Ikoh, while wishing the Christian community in Abia State a peaceful and happy Christmas celebration, tasked them to use the occasion to reflect on the true essence of the birth of Jesus Christ which focuses on peace and love for mankind.
The governorship aspirant prayed that Abians should embibe the teachings of Christianity and learn to show love to their fellow human beings and to live peacefully with one another.
Chief Ikoh enumerated the shining qualifies of Christ as the hope for a better society and a progressive Nation.
The prospective Abia APC Governorship aspirant for 2027 pleaded with youths in the State to shun all manner of over indulgence and violence and allow the spirit of Christ to guide them to seek the face of God through prayers for the unity and progress of the State.
Chief Ikoh called on the traditional rulers in the state, businessmen and the privileged indigenes “to extend their love and care to widows, the physically challenged, orphanages, the helpless and the less privileged ones in the society during this festive period, by so doing they would have fulfilled the commandments of Jesus Christ.”
Ozurumba Henry Ikoh expressed his belief in the 2025 budget presented by President Bola Tinubu as a budget of hope that will lay a good foundation for the growth of the economy, Agriculture, education and infrastructure development in the nation.
He, however sought the collaboration of Abians through prayers for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu APC led government.
