Barcelona to play 2 friendlies in South Korea

The Spanish giant Barcelona will play two friendlies in South Korea in August.
The first will be against FC Seoul, while the second will be against either Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors or Suwon Samsung Bluewings
The Catalan club’s summer schedule was confirmed by a South Korean event promotion agency on Monday. The matches will see Barcelona face local clubs as part of their preparations for the new season.
According to details released by promoter D-Drive and reported by local news agency Yonhap, the first match will be against FC Seoul, with the second set to feature either Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors or Suwon Samsung Bluewings.
The fixtures are scheduled for early August and will be part of a wider Asian tour, which will also take Barcelona to Japan.
D-Drive stated that the exhibition matches in South Korea are part of an agreement signed last November with Barcelona president Joan Laporta. The club has previously played friendlies in the country in 2004 and 2010, the latter featuring Lionel Messi and a team of K League All-Stars from South Korea’s top division.
