Borno: Zulum approves N70,000 minimum wage

The Borno state governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum has approved a new minimum wage of N70,000.
The governor also ordered that a minimum wage of N70,000 be paid to all workers with immediate effect.
Governor Babagana Zulum has also authorized the allocation of N3 billion to provide death benefits for the families of civil servants who have passed away.
During a meeting held on Thursday in Maiduguri, Mr. Zulum expressed this to the Technical Committee overseeing the implementation of the National Minimum Wage.
