Breaking: ASUU declares indefinite strike


The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has declared an indefinite strike.
The Chairman of the branch, Dr. Sylvanus Ugoh, said the essence of the strike is to draw attention to developments bordering the union.
According to report, the union announced its decision to embark on the strike on Thursday at the end of its congress, held at the Permanent Site of the institution.
Dr. Sylvanus Ugoh, in an interview said that the union had resolved to embark on a total and an indefinite strike with immediate effect.
