Breaking: EFCC gets warrant to arrest ex-Kogi gov, Yahaya Bello


The Federal High Court Sitting in Abuja has granted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) permission to arrest the former governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.
The court granted the warrant on Wednesday ahead to his arraignment on Thursday.
The presiding Justice of the court, Emeka Nwite granted the warrant to the anti-graft agency.
Recall that Kogi State High Court in a conflicting ruling had restrained the EFCC from arresting, detaining or prosecuting the ex-governor.
