Breaking: EFCC reveals more atrocities of Yahaya Bello


The Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has reveals more atrocities of the former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello.
The EFCC boss on Tuesday, during a press briefing revealed that Bello, withdrew $720,000 from the government account to a Bureau de Change to pay for his child’s school fees in advance.
He said the he did that shortly before handing over power to Usman Ododo.
While professing his desire to stand by Justice, he further revealed that he will rather resign than not seeing Yahaya Bello’s alleged corruption case to the end.
He also recounts how he placed a call directly to the former governor personally as a show of respect for him to come to the commission and answer to the charges but he refused to come.
He said Yayaha Bello asked that EFCC comes to his village to effect his arrest.
Olanipekun assured that anybody obstructing the arrest of the former Kogi State Governor will be brought to justice.
