Breaking: Manchester United appoints new head coach

Manchester United has officially announced Ruben Amorim as the new head coach of its men’s first team, with the appointment set to take effect pending work visa requirements.
The club shared the news across its social media platforms on Friday, October 1.
According to the statement, Amorim will initially join on a contract that runs through June 2027, with an option for an additional year. Manchester United confirmed that Amorim will assume his new role on Monday, November 11, following the fulfillment of his existing obligations to his current club.
