Breaking: NNPC begins loading petrol from Dangote refinery

Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) has officially begun the loading of petrol from the Dangote Refinery in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
NNPC ten trucks on Sunday arrived at the refinery’s gantries, where they were filled with petrol via a computerized system.
The refinery features 86 gantries, allowing for the simultaneous loading of 86 trucks. Notably, 40 of these gantries are dedicated solely to petrol.
This development marks a significant advancement for the NNPC in its efforts to enhance the availability of petroleum products nationwide.
Devakumar V. G. Edwin, Vice President of Dangote Industries Limited, highlighted that the refinery has the capacity to process up to 54 million liters of petrol daily, which is expected to contribute to foreign exchange savings for the country.
The number of trucks utilizing the gantries is anticipated to increase, with the NNPC forecasting a substantial rise in the coming days.
