Breaking: Police arrest VeryDarkMan over alledge use of uniform

The popular social media influencer Martins Otse, professionally known as VeryDarkMan has been arrested by Nigerian police for allegedly using their uniform without authorization.
The Nigerian activist Deji Ayedeju made the announcement on Thursday.
The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, which has raised concerns about impersonation and public safety.
Recall that VeryDarkMan earlier apologised to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for wearing an outfit resembling a police uniform and calling himself a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) in a viral video.
VeryDarkMan, in a video and statement shared on his Instagram account on Wednesday, disclosed that he had recently visited a police station for questioning regarding the video.
Following a viral video by VeryDarkMan in ‘Police uniform’ where he introduced himself as CSP VeryDarkMan and Nigeria’s ‘number one online police officer’, the Force headquarters had condemned the act, vowing to probe the ‘unauthorised use of Police uniform’ by the social media personality.
