Claudio Echeverri to join Man City

Argentine midfielder Claudio Echeverri will travel to England this week after completing his final games with Argentina U20 to join up with Manchester City’s team.
Manchester City announced the signing of River Plate midfielder Claudio Echeverri in June 2024.
Manchester City paid 14.5 million euros for the services of one of the talents dazzling in the Argentinian league.
However, the Cityzens confirmed when they announced the player’s signing that he would not join their ranks until January 2025, meaning he would spend a further year playing on loan in the Argentinian club before heading to England.
The 19-year-old midfielder will finally travel to England this week to join the rest of the Manchester City squad, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The former River Plate player has not been able to join the Mancunian outfit as agreed due to his call-up to the Argentina U20 squad, but he is now available to join Pep Guardiola’s side.
