Court grants Erisco reviewer, Chioma Okoli N5m bail


A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, has granted Erisco reviewer, Chioma Okoli a N5 million bail.
The bail also include two sureties of the same amount following allegations related to her online comments about Erisco Foods Limited’s tomato paste product.
She is facing a trial on conspiracy and cyberstalking over her review of a tomato mix produced by Erisco Foods Limited.
She appeared in court on Friday morning after spending days in a prison in the Suleja area of Abuja.
Okoli entered a plea of not guilty to both charges.
The case has been adjourned until June 13, 2024, for further proceedings.
