Drama as motorist confronts FRSC officials over alleged bad tyres

A viral video making rounds on social media has captured a heated exchange between an unidentified Nigerian motorist and officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) over the state of their vehicle’s tyres.
In the footage, the man was reportedly stopped by FRSC officers for allegedly having a bad tyre. However, in a dramatic twist, he turned the tables on them by pointing out the poor condition of the tyres on their own patrol vehicle.
To prove his point, the motorist filmed the scene, showing the worn-out state of the FRSC vehicle’s tyres. He then argued that if he was to be fined for his tyre, the officers should also penalize themselves, as his vehicle appeared to be in better condition than theirs.
The incident has since sent the social media abuzz. While some netizens praised the motorist for boldly calling out the officers, others defended the FRSC, stating that they were simply enforcing road safety regulations.
As of the time of filing this report, the FRSC is yet to make an official statement regarding the viral video.
