Eid-El-Fitr: Niger SSG congratulates muslims, preaches peace, love


The Niger Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman has urged Muslims to remain steadfast in the worship of Allah and to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as they did during the month of Ramadan.
The SSG who disclosed this in his message to commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr on behalf of the Government and people of the State tasked Muslims to continue to uphold the ideals of piety, patience, perseverance, humility, and self-denial which were observed vigorously during the month of Ramadan.
He implored Muslims to always uphold the spirit of brotherhood of mankind as enjoined by Allah in the Holy Quran through promoting peace, unity, and progress of the State.
According to the SSG “as we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast, I urge everyone, regardless of our religious beliefs, to continue to pray for the leadership of the State to continue to provide dividends of democracy to the citizenry”.
Alhaji Usman reassured the people of the State that the present administration of Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago will not waver in its determination to provide robust security in the State that guarantees every law-abiding citizen the liberty to live in peace with one another.
He implored Nigerlites to support the New Niger Agenda of Governor Umaru Bago which focuses on urban renewal, green economy, health, education, agriculture, among several others.
The SSG wishes all Muslim faithfuls a joyful and peaceful Eid-el Fitr celebration.
