Family, associates break silence on Mike Adenuga deaths rumors

Social media was abuzz on Tuesday night with false reports claiming the death of billionaire businessman and Globacom chairman, Otunba Mike Adenuga.
The unfounded rumors sparked a wave of tributes and expressions of grief online, as netizens shared pictures and accolades for the man often referred to as “the bull.”
However, multiple sources, including close family members and associates, quickly debunked the claims, confirming that the iconic entrepreneur is alive and in good health.
Renowned media mogul Otunba Dele Momodu addressed the rumors, writing:
“Ignore the fake news… The Spirit of Africa, Dr. Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Isola Adenuga, is hale and hearty. He’s right now at his desk working round the clock in support of the Nigerian economy. He just called me to thank everyone for their concern.”

The Adenuga family also released a statement urging the public to disregard the unverified reports:
“Dr. Mike Adenuga is alive, in good health, and going about his regular activities.”
They expressed gratitude for the public’s concern while cautioning against the spread of misinformation, particularly on sensitive matters involving public figures.
Otunba Mike Adenuga, who celebrated his 71st birthday on April 29, is one of Africa’s most influential entrepreneurs. His extensive business empire spans telecommunications, oil and gas, aviation, banking, real estate, and construction. With a net worth of $6.7 billion, he is ranked by Forbes as the fifth-richest man in Africa.
