Family, church members, others bid farewell as iconic senior apostle Joseph Olagoke Ajayi laid to rest in Oyo


A well notable religious leader, Senior Apostle Joseph Olagoke Ajayi have been laid to rest on Friday, 4th October, 2024 at Agbeniga Compound, Isia Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State.
Children, family members, friends and church members said good bye to the iconic octogenarian as his remains were committed to mother’s earth.
Earlier, laudable church service was held in honour of the renowned religious leader at ST Peter, Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Okeho where children, family members, church members, friends and others thronged to pay their last respect to the departed soul.
The church service that was held under the leadership of Senior Superintendent Apostle Hezekiah Olusegun Adeleke(Minister in Charge) encapsulated prayers, songs, sermon, remarkable tributes, bible study, thanksgiving and donations among others.
During an interview with news men, Mr Bode Sunday Olagoke, one of the sons to the deceased, described his father as a disciplined, focused, wise, intelligent and courageous man, whose exit would be sorely missed.
Mr Adedokun Mobolaji characterised Baba as a unifier among members of family, a man of honesty, impeccable character and dependably ally without fault.
Senior Superintendent Apostle H.O Adeleke asked family to forward name of someone who would replace Baba in the church, hinting that the deceased was a noble, religious, dedicated and committed man to the services of God and humanity.
The guests from both far and near were hosted at Primary School 2, Isia Okeho for wining, dining and dancing to melodious song.
