Federal lawmaker, Mansur Manu Soro pays NECO fees for 102 students


In his resolve to consolidate the gains of his educational intervention in Darazo-Ganjuwa federal constituency, House of Representatives member, Mansur Manu Soro, Friday, cleared the payment of National Examination Council (NECO) fees for 102 graduating students of Gifted Secondary Schools located in Sade, Soro, Kafin Madaki and Darazo towns.
The 4 Gifted Secondary Schools are special schools established by the office of the lawmaker in 2021 for best junior secondary school graduating students to pursue their senior secondary classes one in each of the 4 state assembly districts of Darazo-Ganjuwa federal constituency.
This is contained in a Press release issued by Aleeyu Darazo DG New Media to the lawmaker, which was made available to Journalists Friday in Bauchi.
According to the release,the four secondary schools alongside Special Primary School Lanzai provides STEM-based foundation for students at free tuition, complete free school kits (uniform, shoes, bag, books) while Lanzai special primary school provides free hotmeal to pupils as addition.
“The objective behind the educational intervention by the lawmaker that started in 2021 is ultimately to prepare our younger ones for the task of tomorrow’s leadership where our sons and daughters from the constituency can compete with their peers from other parts of the country.”
