Foundation pushes for greater investment in youth potential

Dr Yusuf John-Suberu Foundation, a Non-governmental Organisation, has urged stakeholders to prioritise investments in Nigeria’s youth, essential for unlocking the nation’s full potential and achieving sustainable greatness.
Founder Suberu made this call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja.
Suberu stressed that a nation’s greatness was directly tied to its investment in its citizens, particularly the younger generation.
He noted that a country’s success was linked to its commitment to empowering its youth.
“To unlock Nigeria’s full potential, education must be prioritised, and governments must support educational development, laying the foundation for a cohesive and proud nation.
“Empowering youth through human capital development is a win-win strategy, equipping them for success and contributing to a crime-free society.
Suberu encouraged collaboration among wealthy individuals, corporate organisations, and the government to provide top-notch education and resources for Nigerian youth.
“The foundation aims to supplement the government’s efforts in providing education to Nigerian children and youths, ensuring every child has access to quality education and growth opportunities, regardless of background or circumstances.”
Suberu advised young people to think globally, embracing diversity and unity across cultures and nations.
He stressed, “Peace fosters development. As young leaders, your energy and commitment are crucial. Stay focused, work hard, and avoid distractions that can hinder greatness.
