From Ogbomoso to Qatar: Adeola Ogunmola’s journey to aviation history

Adeola Ogunmola, a Nigerian-born commercial pilot, has made history as the first Nigerian woman to fly with Qatar Airways.
She hail from Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria, Adeola graduated from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
After which she proceeded to launched her aviation career in 2011 by earning her Commercial Pilot Licence from Sunrise Aviation in Florida.
In 2013, Ogunmola join Medview operations in Abuja, she later progressed from First Officer on the Boeing 737 classic to the Boeing 767-300ER.
October 2018, Adeola achieved a milestone by becoming the first Nigerian woman to fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner with Qatar Airways.
