Fubara commends Sanusi’s reinstatement as Emir of Kano

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has extended his congratulations to His Royal Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II, on his reinstatement as the 14th Emir of Kano.
Governor Fubara expressed his excitement upon receiving the news of the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) being reinstated, especially as it coincided with Khalifa Sanusi II’s visit to Rivers State to support the administration’s efforts in reshaping the state’s economic trajectory.
He emphasized that the reinstatement of Sanusi II by the Kano State Government reflects the sentiments and desires of the people of Kano, highlighting that his dethronement in March 2020 went against the will of millions who believed in his leadership during his reign.
Commending the Kano State Government for responding to the people’s wishes and rectifying past injustices, Governor Fubara urged the citizens to fully support the new Emir in his endeavors.
Additionally, he called upon Emir Muhammad Sanusi II, as the spiritual leader of the Tijanniyah Sufi order in Nigeria, to lead with love, wisdom, and courage, ensuring lasting peace, justice, equity, and fairness for all residents of Kano.
In conclusion, Governor Fubara extended his best wishes to the 14th Emir of Kano, hoping for a successful and prosperous reign that brings progress and prosperity to the state’s people.
