Popular Fuji legend, King Wasiu Ayinde, professionally known as Kwam1 or K1 de Ultimate, has been thrown into mourning following the death of one of his wives, Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe.
Reports confirmed that Alhaja Hafsat passed away on Tuesday, after battling an undisclosed illness.
She was 65 years old. In accordance with Islamic traditions, she was laid to rest at Abari Cemetery, Lagos.
Paying tribute to the late Alhaja Hafsat, the Chief Press Secretary to the LIEL CDA Chairman described her as an exemplary woman and a devoted mother. He commended her legacy of service to God and humanity.
In a statement addressing her family and supporters, he expressed condolences and urged them to draw strength from her life and contributions.
“We know it hurts so deeply to lose a loving mother and dependable partner,” the statement read. “You must, however, take solace in the time your mother spent on earth and her good service to God and humanity. Rest assured that our thoughts are with you, and our prayers are that you, the children, and all those she left behind will find the strength to continue where she stopped. May her soul find eternal rest.”
