Hisbah arrests 20 males, females for bathing together in Kano


Islamic police in Kano State, Hisbah, has arrested 20 residents, including both men and women for bathing together.
The action that violates Hisbah law.
Following complaints from local residents, the arrests were made by the men from Operation Kau Da Badala at a recreation center on Ring Road in Kano.
The Deputy Commandant General of the Hisbah Board, Dr. Mujahidin Aminuddin Abubakar, confirmed that the act contravened Hisbah law, which prohibits men from mingling with the opposite gender while bathing.
Expressing concern over the occurrence, Abubakar stressed the significance of engaging in activities that earn rewards from the Almighty. Upon completion of the investigation, the arraigned individuals will face appropriate punishment.
Abubakar also advised parents and guardians to monitor their children’s movements closely to prevent such incident in the future.
