Immigration officer who rejected N10M bribe gets N5M gift

Dr. Ebuka Onunkwo, CEO of Seahorse Lubricants, has honoured Nigeria Immigration Service officer, Ugochukwu Orji, with a cash gift of ₦5 million for his outstanding act of honesty.
Officer Orji recently made national headlines after he reportedly rejected a ₦10 million bribe and an iPhone offered by a fleeing native doctor, identified as Ezeani, at the Seme border. The native doctor had allegedly attempted to use the bribe to evade arrest, but Orji stood his ground, choosing integrity over personal gain.
The bold decision won him the admiration of Nigerians across social media, with many hailing him as a symbol of hope and moral courage in a system often marred by corruption.
In recognition of his action, Dr. Onunkwo hosted Officer Orji at his residence, where he not only commended him for his exemplary conduct but also presented him with ₦5 million and other undisclosed gifts.
