Mock Exam for Candidates Under 16
In a groundbreaking move, JAMB has introduced a mock UTME specifically designed for candidates under the age of 16. This initiative, according to Prof. Oloyede, is not for admission purposes but aims to help younger candidates evaluate their readiness for the examination.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for admission into any tertiary institution in Nigeria, candidates must be at least 16 years old on or before September 30, 2025. However, exceptional candidates under the age of 15 may be considered if they meet certain criteria, including scoring a minimum of 280 in the UTME and demonstrating outstanding academic performance in their Senior Secondary Certificate and post-UTME examinations.
The JAMB Registrar encouraged prospective candidates to take advantage of the registration window and comply with all stipulated guidelines to ensure a seamless application process.
