Lagos mourns deputy chief of staff


The Lagos State Government has mourned the passing of Gboyega Soyannwo, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Expressing deep condolences, the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on behalf of the government and the people of Lagos, conveyed his sympathies to the Soyannwo family.
The Governor described Mr. Soyannwo as not just a colleague, but also a brother and a dedicated servant of the people.
The news of Mr. Soyannwo’s passing was shared during an Executive Council (EXCO) meeting, where a minute of silence was observed in his honor.
The Governor, deeply affected by the loss, concluded the meeting following the solemn tribute.
Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo died at the age of 55, leaving behind his wife and two children.
His untimely departure is a significant loss for the entire Lagos community, as he played a crucial role in serving the state and its people.
