Modric sets to join AC Milan

AC Milan are very close to reaching an agreement with Luka Modric to become a Rossonero.
The Lombard club, awaiting the end of his journey at the Club World Cup, are offering him a one-year deal with an option for a further year and a salary of €3.5 million plus bonuses.
Milan continue to advance in negotiations with Modric. The Rossoneri, who set this target upon the arrival of new sporting director Igli Tare, have practically finalised the signing of the Croatian midfielder, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
The reputable journalist has shared details of the proposal presented to the player: a one-year contract plus an optional additional year, with a salary of €3.5 million plus bonuses. An offer that appears to have convinced the Balkan star, who is waiting to begin his journey with Madrid at the Club World Cup.
The midfielder will bring his chapter at Madrid to a close in the new FIFA tournament, and from that moment, he will move on to a new club. Milan are currently the favourites and are waiting for the green light to complete the signing of Modric.
Meanwhile, Matteo Moretto posted a photo a few hours ago of Igli Tare, the Lombard club’s sporting director, returning to Italy after travelling to Croatia to persuade the player. The executive’s wish is about to come true. It is only a matter of time.
