Nigeria Immigration Service appoints new Service Public Relations Officer


The Nigeria Immigration Service has appointed Assistant Comptroller of Immigration AS Akinlabi as the new Service Public Relations Officer.
This appointment comes after the posting of the previous Service Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller of Immigration KT Udo, as Passport Control Officer at the Akwa Ibom State Command.
ACI Akinlabi, a seasoned Immigration Officer, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has a strong educational background, holding a BSc in Accounting from the University of Ilorin and a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Throughout his career, Akinlabi has gained extensive experience in various areas, including migration, security, and border management. He has also attended numerous specialized courses and has served in various capacities, including as an Immigration Attaché at the Embassy of Nigeria in The Hague, Kingdom of the Netherlands.
As the new Service Public Relations Officer, ACI Akinlabi is expected to deploy his experience in projecting and sustaining the good image of the Service to the world. His appointment takes immediate effect, and he has been wished congratulations and best wishes by CIS AA Aridegbe, PhD, Principal Staff Officer to the Comptroller General.
