Nigerians knock Portable for criticizing Peter Obi over refusal to give money

Nigerian singer, Portable, has come under intense criticism on social media after a video surfaced showing him meeting with former 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and complaining about not receiving any money.

In the video, Portable is seen meeting with Obi in an undisclosed location, and shortly after, he begins to express his disappointment that Obi did not give him any money.

“If it were to be Tinubu, he would’ve dropped money,” Portable says, sparking outrage among Obi’s supporters.

Many have taken to the comment section to condemn Portable’s actions, accusing him of being motivated by greed and loving money too much.

“Portable is one of Nigeria’s problems,” one user wrote. “He’s only interested in what he can gain from people, not in contributing to the country’s growth.”

Another user added, “Peter Obi is known for his prudent spending, and it’s refreshing to see a politician who doesn’t just throw money around. Portable needs to learn from that.”
