Obaseki tasks Edo CP to track down UNIBEN graduate’s killers


Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, has urged the commissioner of police to investigate into the murder of a recent University of Benin (UNIBEN) graduate, Adekolore Idowu Glory.
Glory was brutally assaulted to death on June 13 in Iyowa Community, Benin City, as she returned home from UNIBEN. She had just graduated in April and was in the process of clearing when the tragic incident occurred near her residence.
Expressing shock and sorrow over the incident, Chris Nehikhare, Edo state’s communications commissioner, stated that Governor Godwin Obaseki has instructed the Commissioner of Police, Funso Adegboye, to identify and apprehend Glory’s assailants within the next one week.
