Osimhen storms his Lagos primary school with CAF award
Nigerian football star, Victor Osimhen returned to his primary school, Olusosun Primary School in Oregun, Lagos State, where he shared his CAF award with the community that nurtured his early development.
Osimhen made history in December 2023 by clinching the prestigious CAF 2023 Men’s Player of the Year award, ending a 24-year wait for Nigeria since Nwankwo Kanu last won the honor in 1999.
Sulaiman Adebayo, a photojournalist known as Pooja, shared exclusive coverage of Victor Osimhen’s return to his primary school on X.com, giving fans a glimpse into the football star’s nostalgic visit.
The caption read, “Victor Osimhen takes his CAF Award to Olusosun Primary School, Ojota, where it all started with street coaches and friends.”
In a heartwarming repeat of his previous visit, Victor Osimhen returned to his alma mater in June 2023, revisiting the familiar grounds of his primary school.
During his trip, he made a poignant stop at his former classroom, reunited with his old teacher, and took memorable photos with the current students.
