Police summon Tonto Dikeh over multiple allegations amid new controversies

Tonto Dikeh, Nollywood star and prominent social media personality, has found herself at the center of fresh controversy as leaked document revealed that she has been summoned by the Police Headquarters in Abuja.
The invitation cites serious allegations including criminal defamation, forgery, falsehood, cyberbullying, and criminal conversion.
The official police letter, which has been circulating online, reads:
“This office is investigating a case of Criminal Defamation, Forgery, Falsehood, Cyberbullying, and Criminal Conversion reported to the Inspector General of Police in which your name and others featured prominently.
In view of the above, you are kindly requested to interview the undersigned through Sp. Amin Abdullahi Sokoto on 7th August, 2024, by 10:00 hours, to shed more light on the allegation.
Your usual cooperation in this regard would be highly appreciated, please.”
The news of this police invitation comes on the heels of Tonto Dikeh’s recent denial of arrest rumors, where she confidently stated that she was at home “chilling” while the rumors spread.
This week has been particularly tumultuous for the actress, as video footage surfaced showing her involved in a confrontation with a car dealer in Abuja. The videos, which quickly went viral, were shared by her known adversary, the social media activist Verydarkman.
With this development, all eyes are on Tonto Dikeh, with many wondering how these latest developments will impact her already controversial public image.
