Radda appoints Rufa’i Safana special adviser on Local Government Inspectorate

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Lawal Ahmed Rufa’i Safana as Special Adviser on Katsina State Local Government Inspectorate under the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, strategically positions the state to strengthen implementation of local government autonomy recently granted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Governor Radda’s choice of Rufa’i stems from his proven track record of excellence and outstanding service to Katsina State, especially in local government administration where he has demonstrated exceptional competence and integrity.
The newly created position will oversee the effective utilization of resources across the 34 local government areas of the state and ensure transparency and accountability in line with the administration’s ‘Building Your Future’ agenda and commitment to responsible governance.
The Governor congratulated Rufa’i and charged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in this new role through diligent monitoring and evaluation of projects and programs.
