Radda hails democracy as Okpebholo clinches Edo governorship seat


Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has extended warm congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo on his emergence as the Governor-elect of Edo State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a congratulatory message, Governor Radda described Okpebholo’s victory as a testament to the strength of democracy and the faith of Edo people in the progressive ideals of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“On behalf of the government and people of Katsina State, I congratulate Senator Monday Okpebholo on his election as the next Governor of Edo State,” Governor Radda stated. “This victory is not only reflects the will of the Edo people but also reinforces the growing acceptance of our party’s vision for Nigeria.”
The Katsina State Governor praised the conduct of the election, commending the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and the people of Edo State for ensuring a peaceful and credible electoral process.
Governor Radda called on the Governor-elect to see his mandate as a call to service, urging him to work tirelessly for the development of Edo State and the welfare of its people. He expressed confidence in Okpebholo’s ability to build on the APC’s legacy of progressive governance and inclusive development.
“As you prepare to take on this enormous responsibility, be assured of the support and goodwill of your fellow APC governors. We look forward to collaborating with you to further strengthen our great party and deliver the dividends of democracy to our fellow Nigerians,” Radda added.
