Governor Radda made this declaration during a high-powered meeting with over 13,000 leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Government House, Katsina.
Ahead of the forthcoming local government election in the state, the Governor addressed ward and local government officials, APC Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates, and ward coordinators, emphasizing electorates’ fundamental power to replace non-productive elected officials. He urged party members to mobilize voters to support APC candidates.
The Governor implored party officials to continue to mobilize the electorates to come out en masse and vote the APC candidates at the local government election scheduled for 15th February, 2025. He also encouraged electorates in the state to make best use of their thumb in retaining elected leaders who devoted themselves in serving humanity.
Governor Radda promised to protect the right and integrity of all citizens, noting that it will reciprocate the sacrifice they made leading to his victory at the 2023 general election.
In his contribution, Deputy Governor Faruq Lawal Jobe highlighted Governor Radda’s transformative leadership, pointing to the administration’s focus on human capital and sectoral development.
Deputy Governor Lawal noted the governor’s transparent approach would be critical to the party’s success in the upcoming local government elections.
State APC Chairman Alhaji Sani Aliyu Daura admonished the party executives to mobilize the electorates in their respective areas to come out en masse and vote APC candidates.
Also speaking, Deputy Chairman Bala Abu Musawa said the meeting was to solidify the mutual understanding among leadership and other card carrying members of APC devoid of any differences.
On his part, National Coordinator for Dikko/Jobe 2023 Campaign Council, Alhaji Jabiru Salisu Tsauri commended the governor for recognizing and rewarding party supporters through strategic political appointments and meaningful engagements.
The meeting brought together party leadership at ward, local government and state levels, including contact and mobilization officials, chairmanship candidates, their deputies, and councillors.
