Reno Omokri condemns tithe in churches

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has condemned tithing in churches.
Omokri in his X handle on Thursday said, “If we over respect these so-called big men of God and fail to challenge them the way Paul publicly challenged Peter when Peter erred in Galatians 2:11, they will give Christianity a bad name and undermine the faiths of millions. Maybe even billions.
“In fact, the idea of big man of God should be done away with. The only big man in Christianity is Yeshua. Other than that, we are all brothers and sisters-Matthew 23:8.
“These pastors make very outlandish claims about God, tithe and money. Money is now more discussed in many churches than in the Central Bank. If you chose the wrong career, you may want to resign and follow money, rather than stay on ministry and think it means minister of finance.
“The only time Yeshua lost His Temper was when men turned the Temple of God into a bank and a money-changing venue:
“To those who sold doves he said, Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!”-John 2:16”.
This ‘holy’ billing is becoming too much. We frown on slay queens when they do it. Should we now clap for men of God when they do it? Tying blessings, financial breakthroughs, good health and career advancement to tithes and offerings.
What sort of god will deny you good health because you do not tithe?
Money that man invented God did NOT create money. Even Yeshua refused to touch money throughout His life. Please fact-check me. Our Saviour NEVER physically touched money.
Go to a mosque. The only time they mention money is when they encourage the Mu’min to remember the less privileged. That is a far more Godly way to conduct a faith gathering.
