SWAN Mourns YOCA President, Chiji


The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kaduna State Chapter has expressed shock over the sudden demise of a promising football administrator in the state, Nasiru Adamu Chiji, who until his death, was the President of KSCD YOCA.
This was expressed in a statement, signed by Kaduna SWAN Secretary, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, dated Saturday September 28, 2024.
The statement described the sad event which occured on Friday from an accident as a sad development.
According to the statement, Kaduna SWAN Chairman, Shehu Abdullahi described Chiji as an administrator that has touched several lives positively.
“We are really saddened by the death of Chiji, who is a young and promising football administrator in the state.
” This is coming at a time that his contributions are really needed in the state, his absence would be really felt in the sports circle,” the statement added.
While praying to God to give his family, friends, associate and sports lovers in the state fortitude to bear the huge loss, SWAN prayed Almighty Allah to make Aljannah Firdaus his permanent abode.
