Tension over alleged disappearance of passengers on GIG motors bus as driver returns alone

A Nigerian woman has raised concern on social media after alleging that passengers on a GIG Motors bus traveling from Port Harcourt to Abuja were kidnapped, with only the driver returning to the destination.
The alarming claim was shared via her X (formerly Twitter) account, where she accused the GIG Motors transportation company of withholding crucial information about the incident.
According to her post, the suspected kidnapping occurred hours ago, and none of the passengers on the bus have been contacted or located since. She expressed frustration over the lack of communication from GIG Motors company and authorities regarding the whereabouts of the missing passengers.
The woman wrote: “GIG passengers en route from Port Harcourt to Abuja were kidnapped, and only the driver returned with the bus. GIG is protecting the driver from giving an account. No police report or social media updates . Interesting times.”
