Tinubu appoints MKO Abiola’s son


President Bola Tinubu has appointed Jamiu Abiola as his Senior Special Assistant on Linguistics and Foreign Affairs.
The appointment is effective November 14, 2024.
Abiola is the son of the late Chief Moshood Abiola, former winner of the 1993 annulled presidential election.
He brings experience from his previous role as Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Vice President.
His new role will involve collaborating closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The appointment aligns with the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders Act of 2008.
