Tinubu is compass to Nigeria’s greater future – Bankole

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and member of the National Working Committee, Aare Hon. Tolu Bankole, has thrown his full support behind the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, describing him as “the compass to Nigeria’s economic stability, political renewal, and social transformation.”
Bankole, in a statement on Tuesday, urged Nigerians to stay focused and rally behind the President and the APC, noting that “President Bola Tinubu knows the way to Nigeria’s economic stability and prosperity.”
“PBAT is a deep thinker and a reliable partner. He is intelligent and smarter in political engineering and good governance. He is truly a detribalised Nigerian working for the collective good of all,” he stated.
He emphasized that “Nigeria and Nigerians are safe with President Tinubu,” affirming that the President’s reform-driven agenda is already laying the foundation for long-term economic and social recovery.
Taking a swipe at opposition figures, Bankole described them as “a current association of failed politicians” who cannot stop PBAT’s re-election in 2027. He dismissed their recent concerns about Nigeria heading towards a one-party state as a ploy to distort facts and distract from the positive gains of the current administration.
“The idea of a one-party state is neither in the character nor agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Bankole affirmed. “President Tinubu is a democrat to the core, who believes in the strength of a vibrant, issue-based opposition that deepens democracy and holds government accountable. His vision is for a pluralistic political space where every voice can be heard, and every citizen has a role to play. The recent noise about a one-party state is a deliberate distraction by jittery politicians who are intimidated by the President’s growing acceptability and performance across party lines.”
He added, “2027 is a done deal. PBAT will emerge victorious in a free, fair and credible election. APC will rule with a clear majority.”
Aare Bankole also urged critics waiting for an implosion within the APC to “go and sleep,” insisting that the party has both the strategy and the unity to remain solid and indivisible. “All prophets and alfas of doom should keep quiet. God is not a man. There is a place for everyone in the All Progressives Congress—this is the party for all,” he declared.
Highlighting key achievements of the Tinubu-led administration, Bankole noted improvements in national security, freedom of worship, religious harmony, as well as increased attention to education and healthcare delivery.
“We are not there yet, but we are surely on the right path with PBAT. Come unto the light now, it is not too late,” he said.
While welcoming new members into the APC, Bankole extended an open invitation to more Nigerians to join the party, stating, “A greater and better Nigeria is sure with PBAT.”
