Tinubu unfazed as opposition heats up polity during Tanzania trip

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent trip to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, was met with a flurry of activity from his political opponents back home.
While the President was engaged in discussions to address Nigeria’s energy challenges, his detractors seized the opportunity to stir up controversy and spread ill-will.
According to sources, the gathering was a rehashing of familiar opposition talking points, with some participants resorting to vitriolic language and calls for undemocratic actions. These individuals have a history of such behavior, and Nigerians are urged to scrutinize their actions closely.
Despite the distractions, President Tinubu remains committed to his vision for Nigeria’s transformation. His focus is on improving the lives of citizens and building a resilient economy, rather than engaging in petty politics.
As Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications Sunday Dare noted, “The fight is ahead, not now.”
For now, President Tinubu is undeterred and dedicated to providing leadership that will propel Nigeria forward. As Dare emphasized, “This is 2025, not 2027. Let those who want to test their popularity with Nigerians wait for the next election.
