Tinubu urged to ensure APC supporters benefit from relief measures

A member of the 2023 Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Obu Suoyo Ayebagbalinyo, has written an open letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing concern over the distribution of rice trucks and other relief measures to states controlled by opposition parties.
Ayebagbalinyo, a dedicated supporter of Tinubu, noted that APC supporters who worked tirelessly for the president’s victory are not benefiting from these distributions, as they are being managed by opposition governors. He cited Bayelsa State as an example.
The campaign council member urged Tinubu to implement measures that ensure loyal APC members, especially in opposition-governed states, benefit directly from palliatives and other relief measures. He believes this will strengthen the party and reinforce the trust and commitment of supporters.
Ayebagbalinyo’s letter highlights the need for Tinubu’s administration to ensure that relief measures reach those who actively supported his presidential campaign.
