Transfer: Real Madrid target River Pilate’s Franco Mastantuono

The River Plate gem is wanted by many of Europe’s giants and, for now, the battle seems to be focused on PSG and Real Madrid.
In his program on ‘DAZN’, Fabrizio Romano talked about the current situation of Franco Mastantuono, one of the big names in the transfer market. With a relatively low release clause (45 million) for a player of his progression and with such a young age, he is a bargain for the best teams in Europe that could consider signing him. According to the Italian, PSG is currently the big favourite to sign the River Plate star.
So acknowledges Fabrizio, who gives 60% of options to the French team at this stage. The player likes the option of signing for the current European champions and finds it very attractive to share a club with Luis Enrique, whom he values highly in case he considers his future.
However, he does not rule Real Madrid out of the race. The decision usually rests with the player, with a clause involved, and Real still have the option to reverse the situation and overtake the French side, he says. The Spanish team had already discussed the move in the past, but there was a problem between agents.
During the last few hours, according to Fabrizio, Madrid have contacted the player’s entourage to find out where the negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain stand.
