VeryDarkMan accuses EFCC of plotting to frame him

Controversial activist, VeryDarkMan, has alleged that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is planning to frame and arrest him due to his outspoken criticism of the agency and its chairman, Olanipekun Olukoyede.
Taking to his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan revealed that he received inside information about a plot against him within the EFCC’s Abuja office. According to him, a high-profile lawyer and a social media influencer recently visited the agency, presenting a video of him spraying money at an event as evidence to justify his arrest.
In a video message, the activist claimed that an EFCC officer confirmed he was already on their watchlist for constantly challenging the commission’s activities and leadership.
“EFCC Abuja, I heard you had two visitors today—one an influencer, the other a very big influential lawyer. You might wonder how I found out, but the truth is, I have informants in your office. They came because of me, bringing clips and pictures of me spraying money. They said, ‘This is an opportunity to go after VeryDarkMan.’
I also heard that the officer they spoke with agreed, saying, ‘Yes, VeryDarkMan has been coming for us, talking rudely about our Oga and the EFCC.’ So now, you people’s interests have aligned, and you are teaming up against me. I heard you’re trying to frame me.”
VeryDarkMan has been an outspoken critic of the EFCC, frequently calling out the agency over alleged misconduct. His latest claims have sparked concerns among his supporters, who believe he is being targeted for his activism.
As of now, the EFCC has not responded to his allegations.
